Turbine Small Bowl
Description
Thrown on the potter's wheel using porcelain, this bowl is made for everyday meals, such as cereals, yogurt, fruit, soups, or side dishes.
Catherine uses three different textures on the bowl: a smooth transparent glaze inside and matte and satin finishes on the outside. This piece is a direct reference to climate change. Catherine printed the turbines and a hot stove on a bright orange background as a reminder that our planet continues to warm. It is an invitation to find solutions as you integrate it into your daily routine.
