Camille Zurini, known as Lola Cera, is a multidisciplinary artist based in Montréal. Her creative path began in her teenage years in the darkroom through photography, and later expanded during her Fine Arts studies where she discovered the image transfer process. This technique helped guide the direction of her early creative work.
She encountered clay during her studies at Concordia University in 2011. Working in three dimensions opened a new way of exploring form, gesture, and texture. What started as a natural curiosity gradually became a meaningful part of her practice and led her to develop a line of functional ceramics.
Since 2016, Camille has created tableware that feels expressive and sculptural. Each piece is shaped and finished by hand, which results in subtle variations that make every object unique. Under the name Lola Cera, her functional ceramics extend her artistic world into everyday life.
