French-born and based in Montreal, Marie has been working with earthenware for more than twenty years. She holds a Master's in Art Therapy, and studied Literature and language sciences and is a member of the Quebec Crafts Council (CMAQ).
Her work is influenced by the shared humanity she discovered through her encounters in Europe, Quebec, and West Africa, as well as by nature, music, and poetry.
Marie’s decoration process is intuitive: she paints and carves in a state of flow, letting the gesture guide her. Every piece carries a one-of-a-kind drawing that cultivates the imaginative and a sense of humanity, created to enrich the ordinary.
